In September 2018, San Francisco was host to the Global Climate Action Summit, a gathering of political, industry, and community leaders from around the world who were mobilizing to accelerate action on perhaps the most serious public health crisis of our time. Kaiser Permanente was a major sponsor of the event and wanted to offer a multimedia piece that could be shared from the main stage to drive home the message that climate change is fundamentally a public health issue. I wrote the “script” for this video and conducted a series of video interviews with key thought leaders in health care that formed the backbone of the video and its message.
